Fundamentals of Effective Clinical Supervision: Certificate Program
This 9 session virtual hybrid (asynchronous lecture, live consultation) certificate program is designed for prospective, new/supervisors-in-training, and experienced supervisors and will provide a critical overview of the conceptual and empirical literature on clinical supervision, including models approaches, techniques, relationships, and process issues. In addition, the course will cover what all clinical supervisors need to know how to engage most effectively, legally, and ethically with their supervisors. Lectures and supplemental materials will be sent to participants weekly and after every three lectures, there is a two-hour live consultations with the trainer. Live Consultations will be held on Fridays from 9am-11am Central on February 13th, March 6th, and March 27th. Participants who review all lectures (and complete their corresponding quizzes with a score of at least 80%, quizzes can be taken an unlimited amount of times) and attend all live consultations will be eligible for up to 24 Continuing Education Credits. We encourage partipicants to attend an orientation/meet and greet with the trainer on January 23rd at 9am Central, as well, though there will not be credit for this session.
