On Demand Training: The Activist Therapist: Incorporating Macro Work
As therapists, we (hopefully) know what to do when someone presents an issue in our office. But what about the issues that are bigger than our office? How can we address these inside and out of the therapy space, in ways that support our profession and the people we see? This training will address how to balance macro work with the individual work we are already doing. Participants who complete this training will earn 2 CEUs.
Identify personal and professional values around engaging in macro-level work in/adjacent to their therapy practice.
Identify macro issues that impact therapy participants and providers, as well as ways to take action.
Identify ways to make macro work sustainable while balanced with therapy practice.
