my approach:

My work centers on helping clients heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief, while also addressing the complexities of racial identity and the acculturation process. As a bilingual therapist (Tagalog/Filipino), I strive to create a safe and culturally responsive space where clients feel seen and understood. I integrate evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches—including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, meditation, and relational-cultural therapy—to meet each client where they are. My goal is to foster resilience, self-empowerment, and healing, guiding clients toward growth and belonging. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they discover their strengths and create meaningful change. I encourage clients to use expressive art techniques such as journaling, drawing, coloring, painting, collaging, movement and even playing games as forms of processing & communication.

thoughts for new clients:

Be kind to yourself. I like to let my clients lead sessions. I am a licensed listener. I look forward to supporting you in starting the healing process.

ABOUT ME:

My identity as an Asian American and a daughter of Immigrants has been informed by its own unique cultural experiences and struggles, as well as a deep appreciation and compassion for those who encounter intersectional barriers to their well-being.

I find peace in journaling, taking nature walks, and exploring new places through travel with my family. As a bilingual, Catholic, and spiritual person, I draw inspiration from faith, connection, and music, especially Filipino pop songs. I’m an animal lover, a devoted dog person, a parent, and an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, guided by compassion and a deep appreciation for diversity and belonging.
