my approach:
I help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief while also honoring the complexities of identity, culture, and the acculturation experience. As a bilingual (Tagalog/Filipino) therapist, I offer a safe, culturally responsive space where you can feel seen, understood, and supported. My work integrates evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches—including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and relational-cultural therapy—tailored to meet you where you are. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all, so I collaborate with you to find what truly resonates. Together, we’ll focus on building resilience, deepening self-understanding, and creating meaningful, sustainable change. I also incorporate expressive and somatic practices—such as journaling, art, movement, and play—to support processing in ways that go beyond words.
thoughts for new clients:
You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin. I offer a space where you can move at your own pace. I’ll meet you with curiosity, care, and respect—while gently guiding the process when needed. Therapy is a collaborative relationship, and I’m here to support you as you begin your healing journey.
ABOUT ME:
I’m a second-generation Filipino American therapist whose work is deeply shaped by my lived experience as the daughter of immigrants. I understand the nuance of navigating cultural expectations, identity, and belonging, and I bring that awareness into the therapy space with care and intention.Outside of therapy, I find grounding in journaling, nature walks, and traveling with my family. As a bilingual, spiritual person, I draw inspiration from faith, connection, and music—especially Filipino pop. I’m also an animal lover, a parent, and a committed ally to the LGBTQIA+ community.
