ABOUT ME:
I received my M.A. in Counseling from Northwestern University. I specialize in working with adults, specifically in the areas of relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and coping with grief due to illness or losing a loved one. I also have a doctorate in communication studies (emphasis in family communication). I have extensive experience in university teaching and conduct research in the areas of interpersonal communication, gender and communication, and bereavement studies. My clinical work is grounded in presence, depth, and compassion. I help clients process trauma, understand the unconscious patterns shaping their lives, and integrate the parts of themselves that have been pushed aside or disconnected. Together, we build resilience, cultivate hope, and support you in stepping more fully into your own power—so you can live a life that feels aligned, grounded, and genuinely your own.
