ABOUT ME:
As long as I can remember, I’ve always had an interest in mental health and how our brains worked and why we behave in the ways that we do, which led me to pursue a career in clinical mentalhealth counseling. I chose this path for myself to understand every individual’s experience, and I believe that every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and safe to process and learn that our mental health is a part of us and it does not define us. I have my bachelor’s degree in psychology and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Chicago State University. I’ve worked in many different spaces in the community mental health field, private practice, and PHP/IOP level of care, working with individuals with anxiety, OCD, depression, school avoidance, relationship issues, behavioral issues, and parent coaching
