my approach:

My approach is centered on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel at ease. I prioritize building strong rapport, understanding that trust is essential for meaningful growth and healing. I encourage clients to openly share their concerns, as well as any questions about therapy or the professional relationship, believing that transparency fosters comfort and confidence. My main goal is for each session to feel calm and welcoming—never tense—so clients feel supported every step of the way.

thoughts for new clients:

My advice for new clients is to remember that it is never easy to admit when we need help, and I am so proud of you for taking that first step. As you begin this journey toward healing and growth, I hope you continue to show yourself grace and compassion while addressing the areas where you may need additional support. Healing takes time, so be patient with yourself. Trust the process, and know that committing to the things that support your well-being is truly worth it. You deserve the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.

ABOUT ME:

I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW/LMSW) with experience in school social work, special education, and family-centered care. I have supported children, adolescents, and families navigating emotional challenges, behavioral concerns, and life transitions, using a compassionate and trauma-informed approach.

I am currently working to grow my focus on ADHD in adolescents and adults. As someone who is also neurodivergent, I bring both professional knowledge and personal insight to my work and I am passionate about supporting others navigating similar experiences.

I am also available to speak with parents for educational consultations in regard to children who may need an IEP, services and accommodations parents can request within the classroom, and general knowledge pertaining to advocating for their child(ren) within the school system who may have specific needs.

I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical tools for growth and healing.
