ABOUT ME:
I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), conducting individual, couples, marriage, family, and group counseling for adults, adolescents, and children, and a supervisor for licensed and pre-licensed counselors. I take a community-oriented approach to healing, partnering with schools and nonprofit organizations within the Chicagoland area to provide innovative strategies to address various mental health concerns. I also have a deep passion for empowering and learning about people. I specialize in complex and chronic trauma, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, personality and mood disorders, life transitions, grief, and work-related stress.
I am a second-year doctoral student pursuing a Counselor Education and Supervision degree at Northern Illinois University. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses at the university and serve as president of the Black Counselors Association. I also received my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University and my bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Loyola University.
